Ciril Parlichev

Cyril Parlichev was born in Ohrid in 1875. His father was Grigor Parlichev - a popular local educator. On August 5, 1898 Metody Patchev murdered a local pro-Serbian activist - Dimitar Gardanov - with the help of Hristo Uzunov and Cyril Parlichev. Patchev was arrested together with his two conspirators.
Parlichev later taught in the Bulgarian High School in Solun, where he was accepted in IMARO(VMRO). During the Ilinden-Preobrazhenie Uprising he was a member of the Hristo Chernopeev's band. After the end of the unsuccessful uprising he started studying history in Sofia University. In the meantime he worked as a secretary of the IMARO committee in Sofia.
After the Young Turk Revolution, Cyril Parlichev participated in the inauguration of the Bulgarian Constitutional Clubs political party. He taught in Voden, where he and Hristo Zaneshev controbuted to the activity of Bulgarian Constitutional Clubs.
In 1918 Cyril Parlichev wrote his first work - The Serbian Regime and the Revolutionary Struggle in Macedonia (in Bulgarian: Сръбският режим и революционната борба в Македония). He was also one of the founders of the Macedonian Scientific Institute in 1923. Parlichev translated into Bulgarian works of Karl Marx, Voltaire and others. After the murder of Todor Alexandrov Parlichev was forced by Ivan Mihailov to stop his participation in the activities of IMRO. In the period 1941-1944 he was the director of the Historical museum in his native Ohrid. He died there in February 9, 1944.

Роден 1865г. в гр. Прилеп, Петър (Пере) Тошев се включва като доброволец в българската армия по време на Сръбско-българската война 1885г. В периода 1892-1893г. е учител заедно с Даме Груев. Постъпвайки във ВМОРО, той бързо се превръща в един от най-изявените дейци на освободителната борба. През 1901г. Пере е заточен от турските власти в Мала Азия. По време на Илинденското въстание е водач на чета в Мариовско. Пере Тошев пада убит от вражески турски куршум през 1912г.

In the period 1892-1893, Pere worked as a teacher together with Dame Gruev. After entering the IMARO, he became one of the most eminent activists in the liberational struggle. In 1901, Pere is exiled by the Ottoman authorities in Asia Minor. During the Ilinden Uprising, he led a detachment in the region of Mariovo. Toshev perished in 1912, shot by the Turks.

This is what Pere Toshev writes after being released from exile in a letter addressed to the Bulgarian Exarch Josephin which he requests to be reappointed a teacher:

The undersigned, by birth a Bulgarian from the town of Prilep, a former teacher and inspector in Macedonia - in Prilep, Skopje, Bitola and Salonika, separated from that position some years ago due to my arrest etc. etc.

513 leva send by Macedono-Odrian students via Bulgarian Diplomatic agency and recived by Pere Toshev,Hristo Matov and Ivan Hadji Nikolov in Podrum Kale jail in Turkey for the Bulgarian political prisoners in 1902.
